Hey y'all!

I am a former Army brat who lived in Europe for the first 12 years of my life. I attended high school and college in Georgia where my two wonderful boys, Danny (musician, producer & electrician) & Jacob (USAF) and my bonus kids, Kyleigh (Go GA Southern Golden Eagles) & Kason (Go Leesburg Trojans) were born.  I Currently reside on the Eastern Shore of Alabama with my husband, Bruce and our two rescue shih tzus.  

I have worked in civil service as a combat water safety instructor at FT. Benning, managed a make up counter, worked promotions at a radio station, taught preschool, coached softball, baseball, soccer and basketball, I even tried being an executive assistant at a resort and spa for a little while. It seems i have finally found my professional niche in purchasing! Yes. I actually buy stuff for a living!  Something I find I am pretty good at.  Lots of experience..wink wink. So maybe, I thought, I could try the other side and start selling too? 

 I have been making jewelry since the 80's and I am excited to begin this new journey of sharing my creativity in hopes it brightens someone's day. One of the best things in the world is knowing you made someone smile! - And thus, Handmade by Horn was created to bring joy and happiness through unique jewelry pieces. Every element is carefully selected and inspired with consideration, thoughtfully selected materials, and of course love!
